- Robin #46
Tim wonders about the point of everything and if he’s making a difference. I don’t know all the details of the story leading up to this, but the heroes that have power has somehow lost them and now Tim has questioins about being Robin.
Compared to the end of the world as we know it, as Tim puts it, his troubles are small. He’s grounded, he thinks Batman believes him a quitter and he’s got girl trouble. Tim’s little world becoamse quite insignificant in the large picture.
Batman extending his hand to put on Tim’s shoulder reassuringly, then withdrawing it so quickly is such a sad little moment on multiple levels.

Mix Asian drama shows, a fantasy book in a different dimension, a video game, some real events, and your own twisted creativity, and you get a really weird dream about underground crime organizations, robots, magic, money, an unrealistically handsome young crime lord, love issues, the government - or civil law - and the potential to be indicted or eliminated depending on how good you are at verbal chess.
Rocket is always tsundere.
And thus, all the hearts in the cinema collectively broke.
